Low Brow Lounge in Portland

A little piece of old Portland nestled in the heart of the pearl. Great music, good food, best staff.

Met up with some friends and was very impressed by this place. Good assortment of drinks on tap and very artsy interior. The music was also played at a perfect level that you could hear it without needing to shout. One of the best places in Pearl.

Great neighborhood dive bar

Dude this spot is sick to take a gal out for a bite and brew! I went solo as a traveler, and couldnt get over how rad the sulky atmosphere was. Absolutely would visit again and recommend for punks who dig cute ladies and good Irish beer!

Absolutely one of the coolest bars in town. Awesome old school Portland holding it down in the heart of the plastic, snooty, overpriced Pearl District. Pups and Tots is the ultimate snack.Don't you ever change Low Brow. I love you!

This place is great. Dark, traditionally hip old Portland. Has been my favorite bar for 20 years. Its a comfy place with no bs Pearl attitudes. One of the last blue collar spots in the area.

I’ve been to this bar a LOT and while the bathrooms could have better locks the service is AMAZING! No matter how crazy it gets they always get our orders right and our tabs correct. It’s a wonder how those guys (the staff are all men it seems) do it.

Staple that's been around for a long time. Just a cozy dive bar. Bring cash, they charge extra on each card transaction, everything you'd expect from a dive bar. It's a little too dirty for me, but it's a dive bar what do you expect.

Dark, chill, solid pricing, service is on par, and patrons are pretty normal. Shouts out to the tender Brian - he is 100% solid and courteous. I just recently started checking this spot out after skepticism due it's location; it's not at all what I expected and is chill.

one of the last great dive bars in town. been coming here for years, happy hour is great and they are one of the only places that can correctly pour a Guinness

Very rude Bartenders..always check your tab when paying here, our experience has been terrible. They have over charged us few times and when we questioned about our tab, we are not allowed to get in here. Also, the service of this place is very discriminatory against people of color. I have had this experience few times and now have seen few comments about that too. There are other great spots in Portland, don’t waste your money on these filthy establishment.

This is my favorite bar. Good prices and atmosphere. The music is great. The bar tenders are awesome. I appreciate the low lighting.

I always tell people that this is the best bar in Portland. It isn't a fancy craft place, but they know how to make any drink and do it will. Great customers, great music, great atmosphere.

Super laid back, no frills bar that sets itself apart from others of its kind by being lovely hosts and offering excellent customer service. The place was packed around 11 pm on a Friday and we were only seated for a minute before someone came to check up and ultimately served us killer drinks. With a name like ‘Thick Love’ - do you expect anything less than perfection?

Possibly my favorite Portland bar. Dark, unpretentious, nice selection of greasy bar bites. And it's a place where you can go as a woman and be treated well by staff.

Great local "dive-ish" bar. Great staff and regulars. Nachos or the Quesadilla are the way to go for late night snacks.

They have great air conditioning on a very hot evening. The beer selection is a bit sparse. It has a good vibe and comfortable seating. The service is good. It's definitely worth checking out.

Really nice and low lit place. The bar is the most noteworthy. Your drink literally takes 2 seconds! I've never seen such quick bar service!

Should be named "Low Brow(super cool) Lounge. Cozy-Kool, and and welcoming, a great little hide out to chill, drink, and chat.

Super chill atmosphere; lots of lounge space with couches and fancy chairs. They have an exceptional list of brews and wines, a lot of which are local (hurray!). 10/10 would recommend and would return!

I was surprised by this place. It’s purposely a lower end bar, emphasizing the dive bar experience, but the service was top notch. Staff was courteous and attentive, making sure we had what we needed and always with a smile. I did get a rather large tear in my shirt while brushing up against a booth from some exposed finish nails which kind of sucks, but accidents happen.

I love this dark calm place. Great space for a mellow drink with a friend. The art is aclectic and a lite dark. It's a great spot to end the night.

Knowledgeable staff. Allot of artwork and other interesting knickknacks to look at everywhere you look.

One of my favorite after-work haunts. Pleasant staff, solid menu of traditional bar fare, essential divey/quirky decorations. One of Portland's best little dives!
